CONTACT JANELLE

Janelle is a registered psychologist with extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients. What sets Janelle apart from other psychologists is her expertise in the area of forensic psychology, often working with clients charged with serious criminal offences. Having previously worked for almost twenty years as a police officer and then for over ten years at Queensland Corrective Services and the Sexual Offender Program Unit, she is able to facilitate individual treatment programs tailored to her clients’ needs. Janelle provides risk assessments, psychological assessments and recommendations including comprehensive reports for the court. She also works with clients to apply interventions appropriate to their circumstances.

Janelle is well qualified to assist with rehabilitation. She understands the impact serving time in prison has on a person and their family. She has a kind and caring manner and isn’t afraid to challenge a client’s thinking when required. Janelle also works with victims and people experiencing trauma and complex mental health and psychological disorders and neurodivergence.  Janelle is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and an affiliate member of the College of Forensic Psychologists.
